CargoGauge is a logistics platform for European hauliers, built in Copenhagen. It came out of years in transport operations and business transformation, not a whiteboard.
From the sorting floor to the code
CargoGauge came out of firsthand experience in transport operations. Our founder Joachim Nyby-Harder started on a warehouse sorting floor, moved into operations as a route controller, and then began his degree. From there he joined a business transformation team, improving the business through IT solutions.
That is where the gap became obvious. He kept looking for a system that met what he could see operators actually needing, and never found one that did. So he built it instead.

In 2024, Joachim founded CargoGauge in Copenhagen with a clear vision: create a logistics platform that truly understands European operations. One that respects GDPR from the ground up, accounts for European driving regulations, and delivers the accuracy that modern supply chains demand.
Today CargoGauge is a working platform in early access: live fleet tracking, truck-aware arrival times, a driver app in 23 languages and a portal for subcontracted hauliers, all running on EU infrastructure. What it does not have yet is a long list of customers. We are onboarding our first operators now, and we would rather say so plainly than dress it up.

Four things we will not trade away
A small company can hold a line that a large one negotiates away. These are the ones worth holding.

Accuracy first
We would rather give you no answer than a wrong one. Arrival times and tracking data are built to be reliable, not just impressive on a slide.

Privacy by design
GDPR compliance is not a checkbox for us. Application data stays on EU infrastructure in Germany, and every processor we use is bound by an Art. 28 agreement.

Simplicity wins
Powerful does not have to mean complicated. The driver app is deliberately small, because it only works if the driver is willing to open it every day.

Say what is true
No invented customers, no borrowed statistics, no roadmap promised as shipped. If something does not work yet, you will hear it from us first.
