Know where every load is and when it will arrive.
CargoGauge gives transport companies live tracking of every vehicle, arrival times based on current traffic, and a simple driver app. One platform for linehaul dispatch, developed in Denmark and hosted in the EU.
- Developed in Denmark
- Data hosted in the EU (Finland)
- Driver app in 23 languages
- No extra hardware needed
What CargoGauge does
All vehicles on one map, in real time
Every vehicle on an active trip sends its position in real time from the driver’s phone. The dispatcher sees the current situation on the map without calling the driver. The route history is saved after the trip, so you can always see where a vehicle went and when.
- Positions come from the driver’s phone, no telematics unit required
- Each trip is colour-coded: on time, delayed or heavily delayed
- Completed trips are saved and can be replayed
Arrival times based on current traffic
The arrival time for each trip is recalculated continuously as the vehicle moves, using live traffic on the remaining route instead of a fixed average speed. If traffic builds up on the motorway, the ETA changes with it, and you can inform your customer before they call.
- Live traffic data for the remaining route, updated as the vehicle moves
- Delayed trips show the delay and its cause
- Driving-time rules, ferry departures and truck restrictions are included in the calculation
Routes, schedules and assignments in one place
Create a route from its stops once, put it on a recurring schedule, and change an individual day’s trip without changing the template. Each trip can be assigned to one of your own vehicles or to a subcontractor, and is tracked the same way in both cases.
- Time windows and expected time on site for every stop
- Recurring schedules, with one-off changes kept separate from the template
- The vehicle type is part of the route, so the calculated route is one the vehicle is allowed to drive
A simple app for drivers
The driver app shows today’s trips, the stops on each trip and a control to start. When the vehicle reaches a stop, the app asks the driver to confirm arrival. The driver does not need to enter anything else while driving.
- Available in 23 European languages, selected automatically from the phone’s settings
- Confirmations made without network coverage are stored and sent when the connection returns
- Trips are started and completed with a swipe, which prevents accidental taps
Reporting on completed trips
See the on-time rate against your own time windows, the time spent loading and unloading, and performance per weekday. This shows whether delays occur on the road or at the terminal, and gives you documentation to share with customers.
- On-time rate measured against the time windows you set
- Loading, unloading and waiting time per stop
- Performance by weekday, so recurring problems on specific days are visible
Built for European transport
Ferry crossings, EU driving-time rules, subcontractors and terminal gates are part of everyday linehaul across Europe. CargoGauge includes them as standard.
Ferry timetables in the ETA
Ferry crossings and their departure times are part of the route calculation, so a missed departure is reflected in the arrival time.
EU driving-time rules in the ETA
Mandatory breaks and daily driving limits are included in the arrival time, so the planner does not have to add them manually.
Routing for trucks
Weight and dimension restrictions are taken into account, so a 40-tonne vehicle is routed only on roads it is allowed to use, and the arrival time reflects the real route.
A portal for subcontractors
Subcontractors log in to their own portal, assign their own drivers to the trips you send them, and maintain their own vehicles and documents. Expiry dates are flagged in advance.
Terminal and gate planning
Plan gates and time slots for terminals, ferry ports and yards, so arriving vehicles are scheduled in advance instead of waiting in the yard.
EU hosting and GDPR
All application data is stored in the EU (Finland). Data export and deletion are built into the platform.
Three apps, one platform
The platform page shows the real interface with example data. The five-minute product film gives an overview of all three apps.

CargoGauge runs on the phones your drivers already have, so there is no hardware to order or install. During early access we set up the platform together with you.
-
Install the driver app
Drivers install the app on their Android phones. The phone’s GPS provides the position data, so no telematics units are needed.
-
Set up your operation
Routes, terminals, vehicles and users. You can start from scratch or import existing route data. We do the setup together with you.
-
Start tracking
Trips appear on the map, arrival times are calculated automatically, and each completed trip is documented.
We are onboarding our first customers
CargoGauge is a new platform and currently in early access. Below is what early access includes, and which features are still in development.
What early access includes
Early access- Direct contact. You work directly with the team that builds the platform, and fixes are released quickly.
- Influence on the roadmap. Feedback from your dispatchers and drivers is prioritised in development.
- Individual terms. Pricing is agreed individually with early access customers.
- Your data remains yours. Export and deletion on request, hosted in the EU.
In development
In progress- iOS. The driver app is available for Android. iOS support is in development.
- Dashboard languages. The driver app is available in 23 languages. The operator dashboard is currently in English.
- Self-service sign-up. Accounts are currently set up by us during onboarding.
